Praying for the electoral process is our first step in seeing the fulfillment of 1 Timothy 2:1-2. We need to be obedient in prayer before our leaders are selected. We want to invite God into the process of electing those leaders who will ultimately allow us to lead “peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1Timothy 2:1-2 NIV)
Join us in prayer for 15 days through, “Pray.Vote”
Unity in Leadership
Lord, You are the builder of all things. May our leaders work together harmoniously in unity with one another. Father, we ask that our leaders work together in harmony and not get sidetracked by partisan politics. Help us not to be divided but commit to working together for the common good. We ask that those in leadership become like one, in peace and unity, under Your righteousness. May Your peace sweep across our land. Amen. (Psalm 133:1, Eph. 4:3)
