Praying for the electoral process is our first step in seeing the fulfillment of 1 Timothy 2:1-2. We need to be obedient in prayer before our leaders are selected. We want to invite God into the process of electing those leaders who will ultimately allow us to lead “peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1Timothy 2:1-2 NIV)

Media
Father, we lift up the media to You in prayer today and ask for truth to be an established standard. We pray that media bias will be eradicated and that it will be replaced with fairness. When it comes to the reporting on Christianity, we ask that it will receive fair coverage in all reports. Keep the media covered with Your truth at all times. Give Your people wisdom and discernment in the media to see the truth and be aware of deception. May You bless and protect all those that work in every form of media and that Your truth prevails. (Ps. 45:4, Prov. 22:20-21)
