Praying for the electoral process is our first step in seeing the fulfillment of 1 Timothy 2:1-2. We need to be obedient in prayer before our leaders are selected. We want to invite God into the process of electing those leaders who will ultimately allow us to lead “peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1Timothy 2:1-2 NIV)
Join us in prayer for 15 days through, “Pray.Vote”
Justice
Lord, we lift up our troubled nation to You, asking for justice to prevail. We ask for all people to be treated fairly in all avenues of life, but especially the judicial system. We ask that You raise up godly judges who are men and women of high principles. We currently are praying now for our Supreme Court justices and each judge in our land to bring justice to those who come before them. May they judge fairly, reasonably, and with godly righteousness. Amen. (Ps. 94:15)
