Praying for the electoral process is our first step in seeing the fulfillment of 1 Timothy 2:1-2. We need to be obedient in prayer before our leaders are selected. We want to invite God into the process of electing those leaders who will ultimately allow us to lead “peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1Timothy 2:1-2 NIV)

The Election Process
Lord, we pray for a huge turnout of voters who will use wisdom in the voting process. May we have a safe and fair election and ask for protection from any attacks from the enemy that would prevent or delay the election. May this election be blessed by You, each and every day, before November 3rd. Please get everyone out to vote and that they follow all directives and get their ballots signed and submitted on time. We pray for wisdom and godly leaders to be elected this season. Help us to contend in prayer daily for Your divine intervention in this process. Amen. (Prov. 4:5-6; Deut. 3:22)
